Lice Alert!

This is a notification that lice has been detected in your school.

We like to let the families know because our research has found that in many cases, when there is one incident of lice infestation on a child, there are often others. In addition, we notice that there is a much higher incidence of infestation at the beginning of the school year as parents have been unsuccessfully self-treating their children during the summer and most schools have eliminated the head lice screening process.

While our confidentiality policy does not allow us to give you an individual student’s name, we feel obligated to let you know about the incident.
